Victoria Espinosa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Qualified Supervisor and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor™. She has more than eight years of experience offering play therapy with individuals in the age range of 0-21. Victoria is passionate about bringing the therapeutic powers of play into each session with her clients. She recognizes that each person is capable of eliciting change from within themselves, and that a therapist’s role is to facilitate that process of change with their clients.
Victoria is experienced in working with children and teens from dissimilar and diverse backgrounds. Her experience includes treating clients with developmental disabilities, complex trauma histories, and social/emotional challenges. She is also experienced in treating clients diagnosed with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Autism. She has fulfilled the trainings necessary to practice Sand Tray, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, EMDR, and the Instinctual Trauma Response method. In addition to this, she has completed trainings on providing neurodiversity affirming and multi-cultural affirming therapy to clients. As a native-born Spanish speaker, Victoria also has experience in providing therapy to the Latinx community of Tallahassee. In her spare time, Victoria enjoys snuggling her senior Chihuahuas, spending quality time with her family, watching Disney movies, and taking walks.
