CJ Camacho is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern and in the process of becoming a Registered Play Therapist™. CJ is passionate about helping people in Tallahassee find healing and freedom, emphasizing the client's intrinsic goals. Before working at Mosaic, he worked as a therapist specializing in working with children and families, supporting them to develop and foster healthy relationships. CJ specializes in child therapy, family therapy, and working with adults from diverse backgrounds. His experience includes treating clients with ADHD, Autism, developmental disabilities, complex trauma histories, and family and social/emotional challenges. He uses Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, and Trauma Focused Therapy. Outside of therapy, CJ enjoys spending time with his wife and friends, going for walks, and reading.
